Welcome to Southwest Missouri Gourds. Our names are Bill & Brenda Jamison and we are the creators of SWMOGourds.weebly.com. 

We first noticed gourds, when our neighbor had purchased some and hung them around her place for bird houses. She never painted them. We thought it would be fun to paint some. So we planted our own gourds and we were really intrigued with the possibilities.  Of course it took a year for them to dry before we even began to use them. They are a hard-shell, pumpkin like, vine fruit that dries to a wood like finish. You can do anything to them that you can to wood.

Each gourd has a great deal of effort and time in the design and we pay meticulous attention to detail. Each piece is unique and has a life of its own and no two are alike. We offer free shipping on each piece over $25.00 with no international shipping available at this time.
